Broadband
The Just Internet Plan provides download speeds up to 15Mbs. This is fast enough to stream HD video and have multiple devices consuming data at the same time.

A receiving device is installed externally on the property, this then provides reception to a internally installed Wifi router.
​
A standard installation includes the receiving device and Wifi router within 20m of each other. All costs for a standard install are covered by the $199 fee.
​
Any additional costs associated with a non standard install will be quoted and agreed before the install is completed.

VOIP Phone Services
VOIP phone services are provided when requested by a customer.
​
A VOIP phone line is not a copper phone line. VOIP stands for Voice Over IP. This means services are provided over the internet, it is a digital service. VOIP might not be compatible with non-voice communications equipment such as home alarms, fax machines, Sky Digital and St John Alarms.

DOVENET VOIP do not support emergency calling. However if you do make a 111 call it will connect if possible. The operator will not know your physical location so you will need to provide this information to them.

The VOIP service is fully featured. It includes voice mail, caller ID, call waiting, voicemail to email etc...
​
Call costs are very reasonable. Full country calling costs are provided on www.dovenet.co.nz the common calling costs are shown below:

Local: Free
National: $0.05 per minute
Aus, UK and US landlines: $0.07 per minute
Mobile: $0.18 per minute.

In many cases your existing phone can be used. The standard install covers a converter to allow this. In some cases a new VOIP phone is the best option, prices start from $70 for a new phone. DOVENET will advise on these options.
